Holger Smolinksi
Dr. Holger Smolinski has participated in the Linux for the Mainframe
project since he joined the IBM development lab in Boeblingen,
Germany as a developer for mainframe operating systems in
1998. He originally has been the developer of the DASD device
driver, the kernel debug feature and some minor kernel components.
Currently he focuses on systems design and planning issues.
He received his Ph.D. in theoretical solid state physics at the
University of Dortmund, Germany in 1998 for numerical simulation
of various properties of new materials.
