Linux for Big Iron

Adam Thornton

Adam Thornton

Adam's male pattern baldness started about the same time as his involvement with Linux in late 1991. At this point he was already David Boyes's junior Systems Programmer on Rice's ES-9000. Two degrees, a graduate school burnout, and a semi-successful consulting company later, he joined forces with David Boyes and Margarete Ziemer to found Sine Nomine Associates.

His hobbies include bicycling and camping with his wife Amy, doing agility and Search-and-Rescue training with his two Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs Vinnie and Golem, and drinking esoteric Scotches, although he rarely combines all three at once.
