What is VM?
Virtual Machine (VM) is an IBM proprietary Operating
System.
If you’ve heard of VMware or plex86, then you have
some idea of what VM does.
A Virtual Machine simulates the existence of a
dedicated real machine, including processor
functions, storage, and input/output resources.
The users/systems/etc. that run ‘under’ VM are
referred to as ‘guests.’
